Some other members were having cookbook trouble on their IPads or Notebooks.

Mary will need the browser and version number your computer uses in order to be able to advise you correctly.

If you don't know, click on HELP (if it's not the word, then it will be a question mark icon), then scroll down to and click on ABOUT...... (in this example, it's INTERNET EXPLORER) which will tell you which version your machine uses.

    OR

    THEN

Knowing which browser and version is a key piece of information the staff need to be able to help you solve this problem effectively.

You might want to make sure you have the latest version of Java. To see if you do, click on the red button on this page: http://java.com/en/download/installed.jsp If not, go ahead and update it.

Also, make sure you have the latest version of Adobe Acrobat. To verify that, click on: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/find-version-flash-player.html

The staff does not generally work on the weekends or holidays. I'm sure Miss Mary will get back to this thread at her earliest convenience. icon_smile.gif

There is a reported problem with saving recipes to cookbooks on the iPad. It has been referred to technical staff, but we have not heard of an ETA yet.

I havae not had any problems with Chrome. Have you tried clearing cache and cookies and then restarting? This often works to clear out glitches.

Issues with saving recipes on Ipad have been fixed.

    nmindrup_11618663,
I am unable to duplicate the issue you are experiencing on Chrome either. What specifically happens when you try to save?

We support Flash Player 9 and above, and Java 6 and above. Please verify you have these. To check which version you have, please click on http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/welcome/. Under Adobe Flash Player, click on link to Test your Adobe Flash Player installation. If you do not currently have Flash downloaded on your computer, you may download it for free at the Adobe website, http://get2.adobe.com/flashplayer/. To verify your java version, please use the following link and click on the middle link asking Do I have Java. If you do not currently have Java downloaded on your computer, click on the red button for Free Java Download.

I'm having the same problem on Chrome too and I've deleted my cookies and my cache. Most annoying.

I got an error message when saving a recipe in FF, but when I looked at the cookbook, the recipe was actually saved - did it save for you?

No, it didn't save. And I also got no error message. The only thing I could see when I hover over the link is "javascript(void)" in the status bar but there is no actual indication that any javascript ran, nor was any javascript error reported.
