She is doing so great and is such a sweetie. We went for a walk around the block yesterday. She did really well, although she walks slowly until we were about a block from home. There was a car sitting at the curb running and it kind of scared her, so had to carry her the rest of the way home. She's been playing with me some. I hit the floor with my hands and she pounces on them and rolls over. Doesn't last very long, but at least she is playing a little. I am so happy we took a chance on her and hope she has many happy years ahead of her. We owe it all to you, Saralaya, K9 and Krislady. Thanks so much for your encouragement.

I was wondering how she was doing!
I am so pleased that she is a good fit for you guys. Is she still Daddy's girl?

Oh yeah and he is absolutely nuts about her. If he gets up from his chair, she will sometimes come over and crawl up in my chair with me, but the minute he comes back, she gets down and goes back to him.

It seems like she doesn't need eyesight to see. icon_cool.gif

Oh, Connie, I'm so glad she's fitting in so well with your pack! And it's so sweet that your husband has a Papa's girl, too. icon_smile.gif

Thanks K9 and Kris. And you're so right K9 - she doesn't need eyesight to see.

I am SO thrilled to hear this! A happy pack all around...and if she's playing even a little bit with you, that's progress!! icon_biggrin.gif icon_biggrin.gif icon_biggrin.gif icon_biggrin.gif

Thanks Sara. DH said he loves her little head lying on his leg. He doesn't have a soft, comfy lap (as in not enough fat, like me), so she lies beside him.
