In the market for a mill in France?

    Wed Mar 20, 2013 12:06 pm Groupie
A friend in Normandy is selling the old stone mill she renovated. It has a stream and pond, an orchard, wildlife, is surrounded by farmland, and has two gites (self-catering rental units) for income. Any takers out there? There 's a great creperie in the village.

Maybe if we all pool our money...
but, alas! I speak almost no French and have no desire to learn it. Can't do that R sound. So I guess you all can have it.

I just got done asking DH if he wanted to move to France, and he said no because the French hate Americans, and we don't speak French. He then said all he knows is "Oui, Oui". rotfl.gif

If you consider what a million buys you in most major North American cities it doesn't seem at all outrageous. Still way out of reach but not outrageous. icon_wink.gif
I used to speak shouldn't be hard to pick it up once immersed.
    I wish!
