    I've never made made this before, can anyone advise how long it needs kneading??

    Really just until it all holds together nicely. You don't need to knead as long as you would for a yeast dough.

    There shouldn't be any need to knead it; kneading will toughen it. Just turn it a little to shape the loaf.
