I have been trying for awhile to save a couple of recipes to my cookbook and nothing happens. Very frustrating. I can't find instructions anywhere on the site about saving recipes. Poor user documentation. The forum mentioned something about the blue box so at least I could find my cookbook. I liked this site the best, but if I can't save recipes I wont continue with it. Am I just missing something? I saved a recipe last week and it worked fine.

If I am reading this correctly, you have saved recipes in the past? You can save them by clicking on the arrow to the right of the recipe name when looking at a list of recipes, then selecting Add to Cookbook. Or, when looking at a recipe, look at the box to the right of the ingredients and select the Add to Cookbook link.

If you used to be able to save, but cannot right now, please advise what browser/version you are using, and perhaps even your OS. I have been able to save recipes using Firefox, Chrome and IE8, but several people have reported problems. But you need to provide a bit more information.

I have recently had the same problem. When I go to the box at the right of the recipe and click save to cookbook the page jumps to the top. I am using an iPad 2 and have not changed any web settings or had any update since before I had this problem. I have been able to save recipes many times before now. Any suggestions?

Me too. When at recipe, I cannot save a recipe to cookbook. Instead when I click on cookbook it pops me back up to top of page. Noticed last night, and have not been here for ages so unaware if this started earlier.

    TIA.

This is an issue on iPads. You should be able to save fine from a computer. We have reported and the team is working on.

I am having the same problem using Windows 8/Mozilla Firefox 19.0.2. When I click on the arrow next to the recipe title, no dropdown appears; in fact nothing happens. When I go into the recipe and try the save there, the window pops to the top like everyone else has stated.

However, upon trying to save the recipe on my Android phone, even though it didn't say "recipe saved", it actually did.

I just downloaded Adobe Revel for the iPad and that didn't seem to help with the problem. icon_cry.gif hopefully it will be fixed soon or I will have to use other websites and I don't want to do that!

I used to be able to save recipies to my cookbook but not now. I am using a Dell computer and Chrome. When I click on save to my cookbook the page just jumps and goes nowhere. What can I do to save recipies?
