    French toast & dirty eggs

DW came home from work tonight with the onset of a cold. Seems everyone at work has been sick sometime in the last couple of weeks, so it was inevitable she would get it. Per her request, dinner was French toast made with homemade Italian bread, breakfast sausage and dirty eggs (the egg custard with cinnamon in it).

I think tomorrow she'll need chicken noodle soup in bread bowl, and I know just the guy to make it for her. icon_lol.gif

I almost wish I had a cold coming on so I could make the same kind of dinner. Alas, it's spring dieting time in our house. icon_confused.gif

What a lucky invalid!! Such a good-looking and tempting plate of food! (If it was me I'd have to be satisfied with weak soup made from one of those packets -- "Cup o' Soup" ... icon_eek.gif )
