    For Group 5

I have completed my final recipe. Pudla - Besan Chickpea Pancake Really, really delicious. We had them with pumpkin and spinach curry last night for dinner and with the remaining batter we had them with fresh yoghurt for breakfast. I'm so pleased I chose to make them and can certainly recommend them.

Thanks, Pat -- your photos look scrumptious -- sorry they didn't quite measure up -- been so long since I made the, can't recall details. Your additions surely sound flavor-enhancing -- will add those in a private note on my copy !!

For Group 6 made the following fun-to-make and eat recipes:

    Stir-Fried Asian Barley #460514 by I'm Pat

Slow Roast Corned Beef #213676 by I'm Pat. I gave this recipe zero stars which I explained in my review when it shows up. The short version is that I think US corned beef, since it's salt-cured, needs to be boiled in a lot of water. I think your silverside in Australia is not only a different part of the cow, but is perhaps not cured in salt? That's why you can bake it? After baking this corned beef it was too salty to enjoy. Briny. We will reuse the leftover beef in a soup. It was an interesting experiment, though! icon_smile.gif We happened to have a chef-trained friend over last night when I made it and he did such a brilliant job of presenting it. His technique blew me away. Sigh.

Pimlico Black-Eyed Susan (Alcoholic) #425201 by NurseJaney

Latte Jelly #408261 by katew -- pure fun to make! Love pudding molds!
