Getting slowly excited about the trip to Germany (and the stop in Iceland!) .. this meatloaf was different and lovely using pork and beef.

I canned pints of apple pie filling.. MY DUMB OVER 50 (yrs) memory could not recall where the jars were! So, I had to use just one pint that I did find (in the carrot section !?) so, it didn't fill up the crust.. so, I added some oatmeal topping.. not bad, eh???

All looks great to me! Delicious! And please tell us more about your trip? It sounds exciting! Iceland, too! I'm longing to see Iceland. Fascinating island.

Your 1st photo: always have a good look at your props (in this place the plate). It's a lovely, happy plate, but because it is so colourful it distracts somewhat from the food.

I have several such striking plates, bought especially for food photos, when I joined Zaar way back, until I was told by the photo hosts of those times that the plates were too bright for the food. I still make that mistake ... love the plates!! icon_wink.gif
