Easy peasy tonight. I have leftover rice and I will make Treebeard's Red Beans (And Rice).
Easy, tasty and quick clean up. Fits the bill today. Most other days too icon_wink.gif

    Easy tonight.

Steak leftover from Sunday ... Open face steak sandwich; saute some mushrooms, top with swiss cheese; and either NO mayo spud salad, or fresh fruit on the side. Probably fruit.

I'm making Chicken Stew. Supposedly a snow storm is coming and it is good comfort food.

I have a pork stew du jour icon_lol.gif in the slow cooker simmering away. It's starting to smell very good in here, so I've written down what I've done in case it's a keeper.

The snow is falling.... so it's Chunky Beef Chili

All after school events have been canceled.

I have a date with the snow blower later this evening.

WHY oh WHY does DH always travel when we get hit with snow? WHY?
I sure hope his flight isn't delayed tomorrow (from Japan) icon_confused.gif

One of those veggie burgers you buy at the store with just the patty, Marinated Coleslaw and garlic roasted broccoli.

Oven roasted herbed chicken we didn't get to have last night. With the storm bearing down DH decided to leave an extra 1-1/2 hours before work so we ended up having Creamy Cheesy Ham & Potato Soup.

Tonight will be the chicken w/roasted root veggies and a small pan of cornbread dressing. Might make a little gravy from the drippings.
