Feel Better Shapes!
Today's Cooking ...
Refrigerator Dill Pickles
Ladies #1 and #2: A easy blackened grilled shrimp over cheesy polenta. Topped with a zucchini, summer squash, tomato ragu.
Me: Sesame chicken w/stir fry veggies (using a Campbells Sauce Package, I had a coupon), figured I would try it. Served over brown rice; and MORE strawberries ... Still strawberry season here.

Sorry about the Creeping Crud Shapeweaver-I hope you get to feeling better soon.
For my DH, he has been wanting Knottsberry Farm Meatloaf. So that with mashed potatoes and a salad.
No idea what I'm having yet.

Gearing up for this winter storm due to start in another 5-6 hours. I have a whole chicken thawing and I think a pot of chicken noodle soup sounds great.
Hope you feel better soon SW...sleep is the best cure.

Clueless, but there sure is a pile of chicken in the freezer. Hmmm... any suggestions? Probably mostly boneless breasts and thighs.

Zeldaz, I would say chicken and dumplings. Sear, add some carrots, celery, onion or whatever you have, broth and simmer. Add the dumplings and enjoy. Nice simple comfort food. That and a salad is good for me.

I've got a batch of bone in chicken legs thawing. I'm thinking Hearty Chicken Cacciatore on spaghetti with a salad.
I also need to think about what I might want tomorrow - nasty weather moving in with 8 - 10" of snow forecast. I hate driving in that crap!

I'm invited to my Chinese friends' home for dinner -- something was said about shrimp and noodles. I've had it before at their home, and it's sooo good!

I have some eggs that need to be used up so, Ma's Egg Foo Yong. Or just gonna make some lettuce salads with chicken breasts on top and hard boil some eggs for that. DH and I ate out for the last 3 days, and sick of restaurant food. Either one is good for me. We had an excellent weekend, but sometimes enough, is enough.

Sounds yummy! I would have to sub soy milk for the half and half, though. DH would probably like this one.
