I'm making a pot of chili and maybe Spinach With Pine Nuts just because I have a bag of baby spinach and it sounds good. icon_smile.gif

I started fixating on a big juicy burger last night. I'm sure it was a sign. icon_wink.gif

Burgers, oven fries, celery, pepper and carrot sticks with blue cheese dressing.

We made paneer on Friday, going to use it tonight in an Indian meal. Probably some version of saag paneer (got lots of spinach), something with cauliflower, some rice or a flatbread, a cucumber raita, maybe some dal. Any recipe recommendations?

Absolutely positively no clue at the moment. Back when I can decide.

Forgot to come back...went diving into the freezer and found 2 lonely steaks.
Those with baked potatoes, frozen California blend veggies and a salad.

thanks K9, you solved the after work supper dilemma...burgers it is but you can keep the blue cheese stuff. I don't eat something that has to go bad to come to the table rotfl.gif

I think I am taking the night off. Kitchen is closed.

I'll see what the kids have a taste for. We will likely do carryout or it will be C.O.R.N.

Not much leftover to serve over but I have soup from last night, it ROCKED!

A quiet, rather boring Sunday here ...

I deboned a small leg of lamb (out of boredom!), butterflied it as best I could, rubbed with marinade, lots of chopped garlic and olive oil. Added sliced potatoes. It's just gone into the oven.

Will steam fresh broccoli, am thinking of blitzing it with the stick blitzer, with a little cream (for a change).

It's already going on for 6pm here -- we always eat Sunday nights as we cannot handle that "heavy" feeling of main-meal-at-lunchtime.

Still lots of various types of tomatoes -- and I think I may be forgiven for opening a tin of petit pois -- the nice small peas -- as the 2nd side! icon_wink.gif icon_cool.gif

    Lazy me.

Zurie I really dislike peas except for raw from the shell or tinned. Gotta have tinned peas for hot beef sandwiches icon_smile.gif

Oscar Sunday ... No Oscar Parties?

I'm not a fan, but some of my friends are.

Today, cooking for Lady #4, 3 dinners to be delivered tomorrow am.
    - classic pot roast w/carrots, onions, mushrooms, potatoes; served with a big salad - chicken cordon blue casserole; broccoli - broiled fish tacos w/fennel and papaya; spicy black beans; and yellow rice

Me and Company: Marinated grilled steak w/my own steak sauce; creamy baked baby honey gold potatoes (they are the size of a grape tomato) and glazed carrots with brown sugar and butter. To start, a baked shrimp spread; and they are bringing dessert.

They are staying with me tonight; so I am putting together a breakfast casserole for the am. Then, they are off to Busch Gardens for the day.

Tater Tots Casserole. No awards party at our house...I could care less. I just like to see what they wear!
