    Hello!

Whilst we were all idling away the hours on the BIG countdown to find out who has won the Table Settings Contest - we discovered that quite a few of us collect teapots.............so we have started a thread here for The Teapot Collector's Club!!! Otherwise known as the TTCC!!!!!! rotfl.gif

All you have to do is post your photos and maybe a few teatime recipes here...........I am going to take a few photos now! icon_wink.gif icon_biggrin.gif

Many thanks to DreamGoddess who has allowed a few very sad people to indulge in their previously unpublished passion - TEAPOT collecting!!!

I am rushing off to take a few photos................see you later!

Oh my gosh FT, I love your kitchen! The colors are wonderful!! Fabulous display of teapots...can't wait to see closeups. I really wish my mother could see these as she adores teapots too.

I only have a couple of them myself...but I can see I'm gonna have to start looking around for some.

Oh, I have GOT to zmail Jellyqueen! She is a teapot fanatic too!!

I'll have to look through my Tea Time magazines for some recipes. icon_lol.gif

FT!!! LOVE the kitchen!! icon_biggrin.gif - Thanks for starting the thread!! I don't have many to share right now...I think 2 icon_cry.gif but I had a ton (well quite a few icon_rolleyes.gif ), I had started to collect them before college...over the years I had added on but most went with the house fire I had in 06...my husband salvaged somethings from the "ruins" but they have been in storage for over a year...now that we are in an actually "home" again I will be dealing with the storage unit... lets keep our fingers crossed & I'll see what I have left to share...(hopefully soon!!) - This will be more fun in my new favorite forum!!! icon_biggrin.gif Thanks, this makes my day!! - I love to look at people's collections!!!

Okay, after receiving a zmail from DG.....aren't you at work??? What are you doing on Zaar!!!!! I had to go and take a couple of pictures....figure out how to load those pictures on photobucket....and now here....sure hope this works.

Yes, that is a disconnected smoke alarm....please don't tell anyone, and yes that is dust on the top teapots....does that tell you how long it has been since I changed them out!!!!

    Now for the next picture.

You can tell this was taken today.....look at the thread that is on the computer in the lower right hand corner!!!!

Now....this is just a few of my many teapots.....I have them packed up everywhere!!!! I used to change them out every couple of months, but while I was in school I got out of the habit....guess I better start back to swapping them out so that I can post pictures!!!

Yikes! I started a post then got busy at work and came back and posted without re-checking the forum.

Is there some way to move my post to this thread?

    Sorry! icon_redface.gif

Carolina, I'm not sure if Kathy can merge the threads, but I'll ask. If not, don't worry about it. I'll fix it.

Do you recognize the teapot on the second shelf of the china cabinet which has been converted to a cookbook cabinet? It is the one that you all gave me when I left work!!!

Carolina, Kathy said the software won't allow them to merge threads...so I copied/pasted your post from the other thread into your first post in this thread.

Now, I'll just delete everything off the other thread.

You have a beautiful home! Since I don't have a Victorian but would love to, can I live vicariously through yours??? icon_lol.gif

I think my favorite photo is the secretary with all the teapots. Just sooooo pretty!

Jellyqueen~ What lovely photos!!! I adore everything about both...from the beautiful pieces of furniture, to the way you have arranged your collection. In the first photo I like the way you have antique looking (or more "formal" T-pots) mingling with more modern whimsy icon_lol.gif .... oh and as an aside I have to add that now I must have one of those "cake thingies" (I'm sure there is a real word for that...sorry I don't know it!!)
In the second photo 2 teapots really stood out in my mind...the one that was shaped almost like an "Aladdin Lamp" (top right) and the one with the lovely pink roses under that on the left. Really very thing was wonderful to look at...oh yes the fanciful fishing one too!!! (1st photo -how could I almost forget to mention that!!! icon_question.gif )...so much to admire I can't remember it all now and have to go back to the page and look more!! -THANKS for sharing!!!
