It's been a very wierd winter. MUCH warmer than normal; and very very dry.
A few days ago, it was 30 at night and 50 during the day. Now we are back to the 70's which is pretty much the norm. But later, back to the 80's which is warmer than it should be.
Strange weather

Well, it is almost 10am and we're up to 10°F with sub-zero windchills.
Forecasters say a big storm is headed this way. They are also predicting that it will mostly die before reaching us so we are only to get 3-4 inches of snow Thursday night through Friday morning.
Everyone stay safe. I know some are supposed to get walloped by this next winter storm.

today is nice here too with an expected high of 35°F and lots of sunshine. Tomorrow, late afternoon through Wednesday afternoon, is expected snow (winter weather advisory) of 3-5 inches. Of course, some of that will be lake effect. The forecasters keep saying it is too early to know what the track will be. It, however, is not as bad as some of the forecasts for other areas where they are to get a foot or so of snow.
Stay safe all y'all in the storm's path.

We live very far apart MaMere but are experiencing similar weather. Fine today - 8 - 10" of snow due tomorrow. Best get my shopping done today.

Have you tried SAM-e, MaMere? That usually helps me a lot during the "blah" winter months. I get SAD too! I get the blahs with the lack of sunshine in the winter.

I've not tried it, Olive, I will check it out for sure. Normally I just try to take vast amounts of the B vitamins.
I am the same as you, lack of sunshine brings the SAD on.
Here's hoping the remaining winter is easy on us girls with SAD

Yep, it can get depressing. Remember also that you need to supplement Vit. D unless you are in one of the sunshine states.
