    Bourbon Chicken how do you make the sauce thick / made the recipe but sauce was running

    If the sauce hasn't thickened after the relatively long simmer called for here, you can thicken it with some cornstarch. Put a teaspoon of cornstarch into 1/4 cup water, stir together very very well, then pour into the sauce while constantly stirring. Let cook for a few minutes. Don't be tempted to use too much cornstarch - it will turn the sauce gluey. Better a runny sauce over your rice then a thick, gluey one.
