This cake sounds delicious. I am confused about the whipping cream. I am not a baker. Do I whip the cream first and then add to the cream cheese, sugar and vanilla or do I add it in liquid form? I guess when I fold in remaining whipping cream I have whipped it first? Thanks.

The recipe is a bit confusing since the ingredients call for whipping cream and the instructions call for whipped topping. My guess is that what is really meant is something like Cool Whip. You add a cup of it first to the batter and then fold the rest of it in.
