In last 2 days, cannot use Back Arrow in food.com site to return to previous general listings [like Reviews]...also cannot access Detailed Nutrition info...and, before anyone asks, Yes, I AM signed in [all the time], have the latest browser and have run my very excellent antivirus software several times uder the Browser checkup and Windows sections, done what they suggested, and used the reverse previous changes, etc. etc. ad nauseum. Now that I look at these posts, I see there and numerous problems. This latest incarnation of 'Zaar has been a real stinkin' headace. Any ideas?
Thanks, Stevie

The detailed nutritional analysis problem cropped up a couple of weeks ago. It's been reported but we have not heard on an ETA.
I have had no problems using the back and forth for reviews, but that was yesterday. I will check and see if I am having problems also.
It would help if you would report which browser/version you are using.

I went into reviews, opened a recipe, then clicked the back button and had no issues in FF, Chrome or IE8. Perhaps it was something intermittent?

Thanks, but the problem persists. It's not intermittent, it's now 3+ days. I have IE8 and this is a 4 month old computer. Pretty much makes Zaar unusuable, except to search a specific recipe. I have no further ideas as I have done everything I know to do and it seems impossible to actually reach a tech at Zaar. Oh well, guess I'll just stop using this site. I've had lots of problems with it over time since the conversion to Boring.com LOL. If you come up with something, let me know if possible.
TY, Stevie

Again I have IE8 and do not have that issue and have not had it at all. I am not technical staff, Mary will be back tomorrow, and she will ask whether your Java and Flash are updated. They should not be old versions with a 4 month old computer, but who knows. She may have other thoughts.

Many thanks. Java and Flash are updated, as of last week...maybe that's the problem! One never knows with this endlessly complicated thing called a computer.

I have been having this same problem for the past 2 days - in fact, cannot go back from this topic thread. I thought it was a problem with my computer but it seems to be only Food.com. I updated Flash this week too, so maybe that is the problem. It sure makes navigating this site difficult and frustrating!

On IE9, my back button is not working at all. Frustrating.
Everything is updated.

This problem is ONLY on Food.com and is still persisting. Per Duonyte's mention, I REINSTALLED both Java and Flash Player yesterday and then, and for 4 or 5 tries, backbutton worked, then stopped, then I found that the Flash and Java downloads disappeared from my Download folder. I've had so many stupid problems with this site...
Also, in the past I have complained that I cannot edit my profile and I cannot locate anything that enlarges this 8 point [or less? awful small and unreadable] font...

I am having the same problem of my "BACK" button not working when looking at recipes. This is very frustrating and it is only on the food.com site that I have this difficulty. [/b]

I'm not having any problems in IE8 or FF14. However, we just received a report that the site experienced some major technical problems over the weekend. The team is still working on some of those at this time. If you are still having trouble, please be patient and try again at a later time. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to be back up and running normal soon!

To change the font size on any page, just hold down the Ctrl key and then hit the "+" key until the font size is to your liking.
You may need to make a separate thread about your problems with the profile - do you remember to click Save Changes? If so, then probably it would be best to start a new thread and to state what it is that is not changing for you. I don't mess with my profile so don't have any hints for that.
