icon_cry.gif I just had a tooth pulled, and it hurts icon_cry.gif

Last year I broke a back tooth on a piece of bone and this morning while eating one of those gas station fried burritoes icon_redface.gif A piece of the hard tortilla shell shot up into the broken tooth and I thought I was going to pass out, the friend I was riding with just pulled into the dentists parking lot and said get out icon_lol.gif

Can't wait for the pain meds to kick in icon_biggrin.gif

But intil they do - WAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!

The old wives say to suck on a whole clove although I can't vouch for this.

Clove oil is often used for toothache when I was a kid, but I doubt it works if the tooth is missing. Hmm, maybe that's why I'm not fond of the flavor of clove.
Wah, indeed. Mashed potatoes for dinner!

I felt a sympathy 'ouch' for you. That sucks. Scrambled eggs would be a decent dinner option too.

Hope your pain meds kick in fast!

Thanks all, the codien is working, it doesn't hurt that much now and not nearly as much as when the piece of tortilla shot up in it icon_biggrin.gif

Yeah Z he gave me tylonol 3 with codien and amoxicillin for infection.

Nothing beats those Vicodin though, I was taking those when I blew out a disc in my lower back, for about 5 months, I can see how people get hooked on them, I could feel some withdrawel a day or so after stopping taking them.

BB, I hear ya, but I would go get that thing yanked before something like what I did this morning happens, the pulled tooth doesn't hurt near as bad as when that hard shell went up into it.

BTW, when I posted this thread I was expecting you ladies to all tell me to quit crying and be a man, LOL!
