I'm trying to find new authors to read. Anybody have any good mystery, murder or suspense authors to recommend? Also posted in the reading sticky.

Go to a website called www.stopyourekillingme.com
Some of my favorite mystery authors include Harlan Coben, James Grippando, Stuart Woods, James Patterson, Michael Ebehardt, Jessica Fletcher, Nora Charles, Catherine Coulter. That should get you started

Ooh thanks for the site seashell, I bookmarked it. There are tons of free Kindle books on the site...off to clean out my Kindle library to make room for all my new reads.

I have read ALL of Stuart Woods books. Just awesome esp. if they involve Stone Barrington & Holly Barker.
Anther author I REALLY like is William Casey Moreton, probably my favorite.
James Patterson is way too creepy for me.

The following site was suggested here (Recipe zaar years ago) so I'll recommend it to you www.paperbackswap.com
One of the forums "club members thoughts" may be helpful to you . Everyone is very friendly and the site is very good. Membership is free. My nickname there is beachcomber. If you decide to join, and list the required books for trading (I think it is 10) I will get a credit for a free book. I have traded and received hundreds of books. It is interesting to see where the books are going and where they are coming from. I've had TONS of fun with this site. Let me know if you decided to join, and if you do, let me know your nickname. If you need more info, PM me,

James Rollins. I found one of his books in a box I bought at an auction and had to go find anything else he had written. Sort of science fiction, but almost real enough to make you go "Hum". Top secret government team that investigates events that may lead to world wide destruction.
