Interesting. With the (what looks like a bedroom night table) to the left, and a chair to the right, this almost looks like it belongs in a bedroom?

OMGosh! I have something like that planned in my head for my kitchen when, or if ever, I get to remodel it!

Me, too. Wish I had the room for it!
Is that a cauliflower in the cabinet on the left?

I don't see why it wouldn't work in a bedroom, remove the
fridge and replace it with a fold up bed.

We have something very similar in our bedroom. Our home is about 100 yrs old so there is little closet space. (I guess back then people didn't have alot of clothes.) Anyways, our bed is in the middle. I got the idea from a European decor magazine about 10 yrs ago. I love it and would be lost without it. We store clothing in the side cupboards and bed linens in the
cupboards over the bed.

Why remove the fridge? It's too far to walk to the kitchen!

I'm probably the only person who doesn't like it.
I hate the stainless steel applicance look. Sorry but YUK.
If this is a kitchen, why would I waste the space on either side of the fridge with that stuff? I mean - really- a lamp and a chair when I could have a whole cabinet for storage - why??
Plus they are showing veggies that I would normally keep refrigerated in the cabinet area (that is a cauliflower in the bottom left shelf isn't it?)- my only comment is "that stinks".
Sorry, from someone who just did a kitchen reno, I wouldn't do this combo.
Edited to say: who would sit in that chair and why? What purpose does a chair have there (especially when the door is open)??

Pixie, I have to agree. I don't care for it,either. The modern stainless fridge looks out of place with the cabinet style, and I think it almost looks like a repurposed bedroom armoire or an entertainment center. It also seems like you wouldn't be able to open the fridge doors completely. Just my opinion, though!

Picture yourself trying to get something from the back of this fridge. You need to take out several other items to get to it.
Where will you put them?

In the last home we lived in we remodeled the kitchen and had similar cabinetry surrounding the refrigerator, BUT the fridge had the same paneled front as the cabinets, was gorgeous.
