    Yes there are substitutes, but that would depend what you are making and how much brandy is called for in the recipe. It also depends on if you can use an alcoholic substitute or if it must be alcohol free.

    What are you making? In some recipe you could just omit it, in others a fruit juice or simple syrup or something else might be a substitute. It depends.
