OMG... I just made the deadline by 8 minutes!
I finally got my lonely ol' 1 recipe sent off at 12:51 p.m. (CST). Wow... that was like being in a race. I forgot how at the end of an entry form it comes back up that you need to correct this or that. I thought I had plenty of time when I started posting! Oh well... I did get 1 entry in.
Gook luck to everyone in the contest!

So glad you got it in under the wire!
Kathy is catching up with all the submissions that came in today and they should be approved by end of day.
Anything that anyone submits after 2pm won't qualify for the contest and the main contest page entry form will be coming down at 2pm EST!
Good luck to everyone who entered!

Hello, elf Kristine...
Are you still floating around out there (or are any other elves in the vicinity)?
Just wondering, now that the submit your recipe button is gone from page 1, how do we see the list of entries that use to show up?
Thanks for the help.

WOW -- great response to our contest with 548 entries! We're in the review period now. Make and review as many recipes as you like.
You can also submit a photo of the recipe, and there are some great photos coming in.

*If you couldn't submit a photo, do you still have an equal chance?
(We're finally back to remodeling the kitchen, and I have sawdust on EVERYthing. But at least we're making progress again!!!)

I don't understand the review system. Most of the reviews I have seen you can clearly tell that the dish wasn't tasted. Does having alot a reviews count anything towards people choice?

Good morning delizabeth,
I am not one of the staff, but I could direct you to read paragraph one on page 1 of this thread. It does state that the reviews could be counted toward the Peoples Choice Prize.
Hope this helps.

Thankyou Rosie, I noticed that further down it says comments like yum or ones that you can clearly tell that a reviewer didn't taste the dish would not be counted. So you think it could still help with the people's choice award?
