Nancy Manlove Cooks & Calm Bliss:

I am not on staff at Food.com, but I think I can help you with your questions. If I am wrong one of the "food elves" will correct me. So here goes...

Nancy Manlove Cooks: Once your recipe has been approved and posted on the entry list, you will be able to click on your title to review it, and then click on "add your photo" which is when you can then add a photo. (It can take up to 24 hrs to see your recipe listed in the contest submissions).

Calm Bliss: I think that something along the same lines the will work for you as far as "edit" your recipe, but you have to speak with someone on staff (an elf) to see if they can correct it. Since the clickable link from your submission would not match up, once its posted, if you change the title. You may need to correct it and re-enter. I'm really not sure how they can fix, but I'm sure they can.

Hope this helps you both, and good luck to you.

Thanks Rosie! I feel better knowing I can add a photo. We usually eat with our eyes first!

You're very welcome. I'm sure one of "the elves" will come to your rescue... they always do! (They're probably sleeping now, tho). LOL icon_lol.gif

You're very welcome also, my dear. Like I said to Calm Bliss... the staff ("elves") and the community are very helpful here. Yes... add as many pics as you want once it's posted on the list.

Rosie -- Thanks for jumping in with the helpful replies!

We (especially me!) love photos, and you can add photos to your contest recipes after they are published. There's no deadline for photos, so feel free to add your photos now, during the contest review period, or even after the contest.

#5FIX notation -- Quite a few people forget to add that to their recipe, but don't fret. I catch those omissions and update the recipe before it's published. Forgetting that notation isn't a big problem, and a few recipes do slip by without it, but I can add it at any time.

Could you try to run a contest like that that uses an internationally available sponsored brand? I keep not being able to enter because it's all items I have never heard of over here in Aus.

    Thanks.

For the time being we're limited to US contestants only. There are so many restrictions and rules imposed by each country that it would create a mountain of red tape for our legal team to nail down each and every country's legal requirements.

I see you got your photo uploaded. Yipee!!! Your pots with brussels sound yummy. Hope I get a chance to try them while we can still vote. (I'm still trying to get 1 entered myself). Good luck, my dear.

    Calm Bliss:
And I see your 2 recipes made it to the list... with the #5FIX and all. Yea!!! Your 2 recipes sound excellent also. It's 30* and sleeting here, soup would hit the spot right about now. Good luck to you as well.

Hey there "Elf Kathy"... 2 people need your help with questions regarding the "5FIX" contest. I tried to answer their questions the best I could, but you had better go look them up on the forum, and be more specific than I was.
1st one was jbum57: questions regarding oil used as a ingredient.
2nd one was Angela: questions about using booze.

I told them that you may not appear until Monday. Have a good night.

UPDATE: There is a 3rd post also by Dantana: questions about mixed veggies.

I have PM'd with them all, but they really need to have the correct facts for this contest. Thanks, hun.

    Hi there,
I have submitted 3 recipes in the last 2 days. I received a screen reply for each recipe as I entered them, telling me thank you for entering the 5-Ingredient Fix - but I have yet to see any of my recipes posted. Is there a delay in getting them posted once they have been submitted?
    Thank you!

    Hello, and welcome.
It can take 24 - 48 hours for your recipes to appear. Each recipe needs to be approved first, then they will publish them. Do not fret. If you received notification that they were received and accepted, you'll be fine.
    Hope this helps.
