I am looking for fairly easy recipes that 12 YO girls could take hiking. Relatively healthy is a plus. I'm not sure how long of a hike yet (it won't be til April), I'm still in the planning stages. Also easy campfire recipes too. Things the girls themselves could make (mostly). I was already thinking Mountain pies for the camping part and some kind of granola bars or something for the hiking part but I wanted a variety of recipes to choose from b/c the girls are going to pick from them.

I absolutely love 'Get Up & Go' Bars - I use brown sugar and honey instead of white sugar and corn syrup.
