Much different than my white chili; but it looks delicious! What did you think; I think you said you hadn't had white chili before.

    Hi Sarasota, wave.gif
I've had it but never made it.
But thought I would " give it a go " at making it. icon_smile.gif
It was good, but I think I prefer beef and red sauce
    chili. icon_biggrin.gif

It's different. I add lots of cinnamon, clove, and allspice; so mine is a bit different. But I have had all different kinds. Mine is also really spicy. The first time my Dad looked at it ... it was what the H**L is that? He about fell over. 1 bowl later ... he was good. For him, lots of beans and spice. But, it did take a bit of time.

I don't know this "white chilli" either, but I love that photo #1! Chef S probably pushed up the contrast a little to get more colour, but it does look better compared with the paler bowls! icon_wink.gif

Sounds intriguing -- now if only DH would develop a taste for hot pepper/chilli!! He will eat it -- but he'll grumble. I've threatened to buy him bottles of baby food.

I like #3 best. We love white chicken chili. DH doesn't request many suppers, he is pretty easy going when it comes to my cooking, and hardly says much. But, he does request this one often. I'm only happy to oblige. icon_biggrin.gif

My version of this differs a little. I use jalapenos in mine, and I put hominy in it also.

    Hi Zurie, wave.gif

    Hi Deb, wave.gif
The statement about the blackout was cute. icon_smile.gif
And photo #1 was posted to the recipe. icon_biggrin.gif
