Something with chicken breasts, pasta & basil pesto, maybe sundried tomatoes. I'll look for a recipe later or I might just "wing it".
ETA: Slight change of plans. I had my penne boiling and my chicken and garlic sauting and reached in the frig for the pesto.... and it was fuzzy! If it had been the homemade stuff I buy at the farmer's market sometimes I would understand but this was the commercial stuff. I buy it all the time and I've never had it go bad before. So I opened a jar of alfredo and minced some sundried tomatoes, sprinkled grated parmesan on top. I also made a pan of oven roasted onions, peppers and squash. It was good, just not what I had in mind. Oh well.

Shapes, I love a white chili; that looks good. I use different spices in mine; but I love the chicken with white beans. Should be delicious.

For me; 18 friends. Low Country Boil, FL style
(spuds, onions, lemon, artichokes, sausage, corn, mussels, clams, lobster, crab, and shrimp)
Served half time
Appies served pre game:
Grilled oysters, 4 classic dips (velveeta rotel, spinach/bread bowl, green onion; yellow salsa)
Cheesy stuffed bread, and my lettuce cups stuffed with chopped salad.
Plenty of beer, mojitos, and wine
Dessert: Football shaped sugar cookies.
NO, I'm not cooking it all. Everyone has a dish to bring, I'm making the salsa with garden tomatoes, 6 condiments for the meal, and the salad cups. And I'm sure the guys will have to do their grilling thing.
4 TV's will be on which will make everyone happy!

No clue.... how terrible is that? I've got 'til 3pm to pull a rabbit out of my hat, right?
It may be only 3 of us cuz I suspect the kids will be out & about for SB but home by 9. It's a school night! They don't care about football, anyway.
BBL after I freezer dive.

Perfect Roast Chicken with Lemon & Za’atar from healthy-delicious.com, sauteed chard and beet greens, roasted Brussels sprouts with onions and grapes, and roasted potatoes. Started some orange fermented beets with some of the whey from our first batch of homemade ricotta (RICH!), and Randy has started a loaf of bread using more of the whey. We're cooking fools today, and the kitchen is actually in pretty good shape!

I am making Steamed Shrimp Dumplings or Pot Stickers
I'm using ground pork instead of shrimp.
I LOVE steamed Chinese dumplings, but HATE the tedious folding and crimping blah blah blah. So I just make them like a ravioli. Same taste... same texture... just easier to assemble.
