    Deer (Venison) Jerky

    First time making deer jerky, what part of the deer is best for jerky.

    All venison is quite lean, so almost any cut will do well for jerky. The key thing is to use cuts which are one muscle, like an eye round or a skirt steak. Cuts which are composed of several muscles with not dry evenly.
