    I can't believe that it's the 20th already! My goodness but this month is just flying by.

    DH had go to the city yesterday would you believe that it was -45 icon_eek.gif. He said that he almost spun right off the road @ 50 kph (usually 110 kpd which is the speed limit). I'm SO glad that he's safe at home this morning!

    All's well here this morning and I hope that it's the same at your house icon_biggrin.gif

    Prime Ingredient: POTATO

    Great tips for storing, cooking and using potatoes

    Remove potatoes from the plastic bags they are packaged in to prevent them sweating
    Add lemon juice during boiling to prevent after-cooking blackening
    Salt your potatoes first for perfect, crunchy-skinned baked potatoes
    Treat potatoes carefully as they are easily bruised
    Peel potatoes thinly, or not at all - this will preserve the nutrients just under the skin
    Cut potatoes into evenly-sized pieces to ensure even cooking
    Boil potatoes slowly to avoid them breaking up
    Store potatoes in the dark - light turns them green
    Save the water used for cooking potatoes for stocks and stews

    LOL! An old client from 2006 looked me up to do a logo design, but MOOHAHA! I reminded him that back in 2006 I did a logo design for him that he never paid for, and if he wanted me to do anything new, he was going to have to pay first! icon_twisted.gif LOL! Well, he told me to email him a bill so we shall see if he pays or not? icon_twisted.gif It will be classified as being exciting if he pays! rotfl.gif
