I'm a little frustrated with the metric conversion and subsequent recipe printing on the site. First I want to thank you for having the conversion feature, other sites should take note and include it. The metric conversion works okay but it's a bit strange that it converts to milliliters rather than grams; this is pretty easy to manage so it's not a showstopper. However, once the recipe has been converted to metric and a print of the recipe is requested, the conversion disappears and it's back to cups and teaspoons. Is there any way to correct the printing issue?

Cups is a volume measure so when it converts to metric, it converts to ml. Converting from volume to weight is much more complicated - one cup of flour and one cup of beans is not the same when converted to weight.
I believe it is a known glitch that the conversions don't hold for printing, but Mary will have to confirm.

Thanks for clarifying the measurements and letting me know that the issue is being addressed.
Cheers!

Yes, the issue with printing a recipe and the conversions not sticking is a known issue. I wish I had more information on when that may be corrected, but hopefully in the near future.
