Quick Overview
Since so many of you access Food.com from your smartphones (iPhone, Android, etc.), we're making it easy to enjoy Food.com's recipes from any device.

Beginning Thursday, when you access a recipe page on Food.com from your mobile phone, you will see a different, more streamlined template. This is the first of the different parts of the site that we're making more mobile friendly. We will also begin rolling out mobile-friendly versions of other areas of the site over the next few months.

Since the maintenance was done, I can't access my private cookbooks. When I click on a new recipe to read it, the page layout is larger than my laptop screen. I can't read my favorites list because when it pops up, it is half off the viewing area of the screen. I have tried to hover over the blue rectangle by my name, but nothing happens. Please help.

Hit your CONTROL key and the MINUS (-) sign a couple of times to make the layout smaller on your screen. Hopefully then you'll be able to hover over the blue rectangle and see a box pop up with your cookbooks!

Thanks, I am now able to access my favorites to save a recipe. I then view the cookbook and am able to see the recipes in that particular book, but I still can't access my cookbooks from the blue rectangle at the top. Any suggestions?

Did you clear cache and cookies? the maintenance had nothing to do with cookbooks. There may be some little glitch in your computer that is causing problems, and clearing cache and cookies often fixes those things.
