Hi, I am putting my husband on a lose weight diet. One thing I need to do, is to make sure he has a good high protein meal in the morning. He never has time to get up and make a breakfast, so I need something that would be more grab and go kind of thing. I do not want all sweet things like muffins. Anyone have any ideas?? Thanks so much!!

DH and I have been doing South Beach Diet for over a year now.
Have a look at this recipe and see if it might work

Quiche to Go (Adapted from South Beach Diet)

I change things up all the time with this one. As long as you leave the eggs as is, you can change the veggies up easily. Sometimes I use broccoli, chopped up fine, bacon bits, green pepper, whatever appeals to me at the time.

I have portioned out plain yogurt into foam coffee cups, topped with a little bit of a topping of some type - usually fresh or stewed fruit or some honey - and then put a bit of plastic wrap on it. I will grab that and eat it on the way. i can get labne (which is like Greek yogurt, even thicker and higher in protein) for around $2.50 a 16 ounce container at a couple of markets in my area, which makes it cheaper than buying the small containers of Greek yogurt.
