Question:White Almond Sour Cream Wedding Cake

White Almond Sour Cream Wedding Cake What kind of icing would be good. I want to use Almond flavoring with cherries and pecans in the icing.

There are 309 reviews, I'm sure there are several frosting suggestions in there. Personally, I'm not so sure about the pecans in an icing, sounds like too much texture and too many flavors. I'd probably prefer them finely ground in a filling between layers or even in the cake. I'd stick with almond all around, for my taste, and I love pecans.
You might want to post something in the baking forum to get some feedback from people who bake more than I do. Some of them might pop up here, though, pretty soon.
