rosanne316 wrote: LMAO over my consolation prize! By the way... this is Rosie316... forced to create a new ID, a new Food.com account a new server and from a new computer source. Still didn't help! My "topic notifications" to my emails from Food.com are still messed up. But the "elves" are working on it.
Anyways, I'm gonna go check out the recipes and get cooking. By the way, I cannot believe that the cake mix was the least used. If I would have been able to submit on time, I was going to do a chili with dumplings, that used the cake mix together with a cornbread mix to make the dumplings. Believe it or not, they make for light and fluffy cornbread. Maybe someone else thought of that. I'm gonna go look at the recipes right now.
Good luck to all of you who entered.
-Rosie
Hope everything works out well for you in the RSC contest Rosie. I'm sure the elves will get you sorted out just fine.
Glad you enjoyed the shorts...
I'm sure that you may find a recipe or two to interest you... in these awesome recipes... they'll call your name.... try me... try me.
Baby Kato: "Thanks again for the shorts"... LOL Brings back memories from my younger days when my mother would crochet and knit anything she could for us kids! LOL
Oh, by the way... I'm back to "rosie316" again, but I can only access my Food.com "topic notifications" thru my new yahoo email and ID. I think the problem with my gmail address is on Googles end. We shall see.
Hey, hun... go onto the RSC recipes and tell me what you think of them. I've got #1 Elote / Equites and #2 Scotch eggs entered. As far as these ketchup contest recipes go (had I entered in time), I was gonna do a snip.... edited by Susie so as not to mention a contest recipe by name I would've either made cornbread/cake bread, or cornbread/cake dumplings. Dang' I wish I would've gotten my computer back in time!
Blah blah blah...
Glad to be back!
-Rosie (aka "rosanne316" aka rosie316") LOL

Just a friendly reminder.
No promotion or mentions of recipes in our community contests are permitted. We want all of the recipes to have an equal opportunity of attracting notice, attention, and the possibility of being tried. We can say things like "I tried two recipes" or "My dinner last night was wonderful" without identifying a specific recipe.
Part of the fun for our creative chefs is anticipating which recipes are being tried. It lets everyone feel they might be the winner all of the way until the review period is over.
Thanks!
Rita~

Thanks! I suggest using the private notes on recipes to say things in secret. Also to guess whose recipe they are.

Sorry Susie D: I didn't submit an entry, so I thought I could post my idea (had I been able to enter). I do plan to make at least 3 or 4 of the ones posted. I think I can say, (fairly), that many of the recipes are close to what I've been making since before most of you youngsters were even born! LOL
Good luck everyone!
