Good afternoon, I wanted to ask if we are allowed to have more ingredients added to our recipe along with the five ingredients that are listed.

Yes, Slocan. You can use any number of ingredients. But, at a minimum, you must use ketchup and four ingredients from the list on page one. If you create more than one recipe, you can use the same ingredients from page one or different. It is up to you.

Hi Slocan cook, you may use as many ingredients as you like in your recipe, as long as you use Ketchup and 4 other ingredients from the list on page 1.

You can use the same ingredients in any of the recipes that you make, if you choose.

Three ovens thanks again for your help icon_lol.gif

Hello there, I have just submitted my first recipe this evening to the proper address listed on the event calendar. I hope it is alright if I sent a carbon copy to a good friend of mine who I keep tabs with in my local community here.

Well I am sorry to say I am going to have to skip this contest. I have discovered that no one in my family likes ketchup except my daughter and for her only on fries. I developed a great recipe if I use bbq sauce but no one will eat it made with ketchup. Even if I can hide the taste of the ketchup enough my family will eat it I don't think I can give a fair review. Good luck everyone!

    Hi slocan. wave.gif
Please refer to the rules on pg 1. All recipes in this contest are supposed to remain anonymous so identifying your recipe in any manner to others is prohibited. icon_sad.gif

Note: The product sponsored contests encourage campaigning and gathering of votes while the community contests want each recipe to be on an even playing field and have the same opportunity to be noticed.

What a shame! You always come up with creative ideas so I was looking forward to your participation. icon_sad.gif
We all have food dislikes. It would have to be an super, duper, extra special something to even get me near a soft cooked egg and then I'd have to close my eyes. icon_redface.gif

We'll send you the reminder anyway when the recipes are revealed. One (or more) might catch your eye. I also hope you'll stick around and post often. We can always use cheerleaders. icon_smile.gif

Sure I will stick around and watch. May even try a recipe. My husband said I should submit the recipe using ketchup even though we didnt like it - somebody else might. I said sure then explained that the ketchup was suppose to be an integral part of the recipe and he would have to try someone else's recipe. He changed his mind. LOL I will post it later after the contest is over (using bbq sauce)

Thank you for the information. I will keep things under wraps for the sake of the contest and others who I am involved with in the event. Am I allowed to make something else and submit a copy to the address in the coming days.
