What do you mean the reviews section is blocked? I just now read several reviews posted by you. (Btw ... thanks!)

When I clicked on the "reviews please" I got a message saying "you are not authorized to view this page". It doesn't matter, though as you said I had already reviewed my selections at 12:30!

Pammyowl is correct, Susie. I clicked the same link that is on your post.

DO NOT HAVE PERMISSION to use this.

    Possible causes stated are:
#1) Has not been made public
#2) Must be signed in (I am)
#3) Maybe a typo in the clickable link

    Just an FYI icon_sad.gif

    Good morning, America! icon_biggrin.gif

It's now nearly 1pm here in sunny South Africa. I posted my review at (my time) 8am.

Wish I could do more recipes, but the ingredient list was a bit of a challenge!

What I so like about this contest and RSC (where I can't take part any more, not being in the USA icon_evil.gif ), is that the recipes are really original creations of the chefs, and not copies from elsewhere!

    Calling Rosie!!!

ROFLMAO!!! icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif Rosie, I just read the comments on the previous page.

    Sooo funny!!

First of all, "lamb's offal" IS the dish!! It is cooked long and slow ... Let me not spoil you appetite for the rest of the day, but as coincidence would have it, in the car today after going to buy fresh fish, an old guy on the car radio discussed baked sheep's head in detail. icon_biggrin.gif

I cannot post a recipe because this site's recipe ingredient checker will not understand ...! And as DH hates it, I haven't even cooked offal for years. icon_sad.gif

You must be right about the tastes of meat in different countries. It DOES depend on what the beasts grazed on. I know most Americans are not fond of lamb -- their explanation so far is that "it has a strong smell/taste."

So I sniffed our lamb meat ... and ours has absolutely no smell!! It is delicious, unless I was sold an old beast -- mutton and not lamb! But stewed mutton is so flavourful ...

Our best-tasting sheep graze on wild, scrubby bushes, which give their meat an almost herbal flavour -- delicious!

Sorry about your UK meat experiences! I have never eaten anything from McDonalds -- our nearest outlet is 20 miles away -- and I am not a fan of burgers, so cannot tell you how it tastes here! icon_biggrin.gif icon_lol.gif
