Whenever I have eaten in a Thai restaurant I order Spicy Basil Shrimp....when the dish is served, they bring condiments. One of the condiments is a vinegared pepper pickle. They are small green peppers in a vinegar. Does anyone know of a recipe for these, or can you tell me the name of the pickle so I can buy it in an ethnic market. The vinegar is what makes the dish in my opinion. Hope someone can help me. Thanks in advance.

Dee, do you think it's the Rice vinegar that makes a difference? I have never had Thai pickles before. I know you come from an Italian background like me. Just wondering what the difference would be from the easily bought (at least here in the NY metro area) supermarket jars of pepperoncini?
