    I want to create a new cookbook and the arrow to right of my profile pic is not working nor is the red banner section.

    Try the old standby of clearing cache/cookies to see if that solves it for you! Both are working for me in Firefox 18.0 on a PC ~ you'll need to tell Mary what browser / equipment you are using so she can try to duplicate the problem.
