    Newbie "Fry Cook" Poster
    i have the recipe from 2006 sandra lee which calls for frozen green beans. Wondering how to change it if fresh are used?

    Without knowing the cooking directions for the recipe you are using, it is difficult to know if anything needs changing.
    Since the the two following recipes use fresh haricots verts, perhaps you can use the cooking directions from one with your recipe ingredients.

    Indeedy.

    I buy these all the time as they are a family favorite.
    Out of season, I buy them in a "steamer bag" from the grocery store.
    I microwave on high them for 3 minutes and finish them off (sautéed in EVOO, garlic butter & salt) in the pan.

    Over cooking haricot verts is crime . icon_wink.gif
