Hi. I just created an account, and what I'd like to be able to do is find recipes, and be able to edit them before I save, so that I've got my own custom version.

I see that I can add personal notes, but it doesn't look like I can start with a recipe, edit it, and save as new.

Am I correct that it's not possible to do that?

And, does anyone know of a site or app that does allow that? I suppose I could re-enter info and create a new recipe, but I'm just trying to save myself having to start from scratch.

    Thanks for any help!

No, sorry you cannot do that. I don't know of any site that has that functionality.

You can enter the recipe again, keeping it a private recipe and making the changes you want. You can also use the private note function to note the changes you have made to the recipe - the private note is viewable only by you. Add a Private Note is in the Manage This Recipe box to the right of the ingredients.
