Welcome to Healthy Choices!
This game is meant for people who want to make their eating healthful and tasty at the same time. Eating healthily should mean delicious meals that keep you fit and happy. Here, we intend to discover the whole world of yummy and healthy recipes on food.com!
Our goal is to have fun discovering how easy and tasty eating healthily is. Food cannot be good for you if you don't like it – so healthy choices are choices that are good for your body and your soul!
The rules of this game are fairly simple: Tag any recipe you want which in your opinion is healthy. That may mean it is suitable for a special diet which you maintain, like gluten free or diabetic, or it may mean that it is healthy within general guidelines for healthy cooking: Low in refined sugar, high in complex carbohydrates, low in „bad“ fats and high in „good“ fats to name a few. You may want to include more vegetables, more raw food, or other healthy foods into your diet, or you are on the lookout for tasty recipes that make a feast out of simple healthy foods.
Just tell us, when you tag a recipe, why you consider it healthy, or try to tweak it so it gets healthier, and share with us what you did to improve its value for your health.
How to play:
1)Tag ANY recipe from food.com that you consider a healthy choice.
2)Post your tag in the thread: Tagging recipe #xxxxx #xxxxx by member #xxxxx
3)Tell why you consider it healthy, or share with us what you are going to change to make it healthier for you.
4)Make the recipe within 2 weeks after tagging.
5)After completing the recipe, post a review and report back in the thread that you completed your tag.
When you chose to tag someone’s recipe, you are committing to making that recipe and reviewing it within 2 weeks (14 days). We realize life sometimes does get in the way of our cooking/tagging, so if you aren’t going to be able to meet the 2 week deadline, please ask us for a additional 2 week extension. Players will be put on the Restricted List once they have passed the 4 weeks (28 days) deadline, unless they have special circumstances. If you feel you have a special circumstance preventing you from completing a tag within 4 weeks, please contact the game host. Once on the Restricted List, you will no longer be able to participate in any of the games or events in the “Cooking Games with Friends Forum” until you have made and reviewed any recipes that have you on that list. This is done in order to keep it fair for all players in the games.

February Winter Special:
BOOST YOUR ENERGY WITH SUPERFOODS!
Winter approaches its end - the time when days start getting longer again, but also the time when we are tired of winter and our immune system could do well with an extra boost of energy.
So pammyowl came up with the excellent idea to offer a special for just this purpose: To give your energy an extra boost!
It has been in the media for quite some time now that there are SUPERFOODS which have a very high density in powerful nutrients such as antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids, essential proteins to name a few.

Now this special will award each player who makes a recipe that contains one or more superfoods with one point per superfood. The player who has the most points at the end of the game will get a review on one of her/his recipes.
Pammy has created a list with superfoods and a cookbook with recipes. You can tag either from the cookbook or any other recipe from the site that contains at least one superfood.

2) Tag in recipe #xxx #xxx by chef #xxx and tell us about the superfood(s) in it
3) Complete and review the recipe within two weeks after tagging
4) Report your completion back here
