Actually, there is a way to prioritize the recipes in your cookbook. I'm a little rusty at that right now, but could brush up on it if anyone's interested.
There is a tool in the cookbook edit mode where you can grab recipes and move them around to your desired sequence.
Just thought that I'd throw this out there in case anyone was interested. Let me know if you want me to refresh myself on this topic and share.

It's quite easy to re-order recipes in a cookbook  While you are IN the cookbook, just click on the Order Recipes link at the top:
Then drag the recipes around to the order you want and save

Well, this was certainly a painful process. In 2012, I reviewed 334 recipes!
I finally got it down to 54 before ultimately struggling to pick 40.
