    Newbie "Fry Cook" Poster
    I would like some help with quick and healthy recipes my family will eat. One of the problems is my wife and daughter do not like mushrooms, peppers, onions. I can chop the last two up really fine though but no mushrooms of any kind. icon_rolleyes.gif

    Fresh entree salads - use some taco flavored meat and cheese, maybe throw in some black beans, olives and corn

    I love baked bean as it is easy to prepare and dine. I just add the baked beans on chicken sausage and collard greens and serve it with Coleslaw and cornbread. Try it, You will like it!

    Baked potatoes! You can make them in the crockpot too!

    let them chose the toppings; however, we like cheese sauce w/ham and broccoli

    sloppy joes? my mom made them using sour cream and ketchup w/some dry mustard.. different.. I now use FF sour cream thou


    stroganoff, but leave out the mush and onion.


    ((( my 14 y/o hates mush, tho never really trying them cooked or raw.. I buy 96% hamburger now and last week I whirled them in my processor then mixed into the meat: he thought he saw some, but ate the entire burger! when told, he said he didn't care......icon_smile.gif))))
