Well, I'm not new to the site, but new to this forum. Was just diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I should have expected it, since I have a strong family history, but thought that I might avoid it, with healthy diet and moderate exercise. No luck.
I started classes on nutrition and diabetes management last night, so am hopeful that can make a difference. DH is very supportive, so no issues there. We tweaked our meal plans for his cholesterol a few years back, and will adapt further for me.
Looking forward to tips and suggestions from all of you, and hoping I can be helpful in return.
