When it comes to soup, I like to make big batches and freeze. Does this freeze well? Reason I ask is the cream in the recipe.

Potatoes don't freeze well. I would not use the potatoes if making this to freeze. The kale and cream are added just at the end, and they would be better added when the soup is reheated after thawing..

I freeze my kale sausage and potato soup all the time. I have no problem with the potatoes being frozen and kale. Cream, if small amounts it is fine. Large CREAM based soups are not the best frozen. But I freeze soup with kale and potatoes all the time.
