I do love to cook...I love to try and use different food (vegies/meat) that I never got to as a kid. The menus must have meat and potatoes once in a while and not to out of the ordinary for DH. (But he seems to love anything I fix and neither of us has starved) icon_lol.gif I looked at the brownie recipe you have choosen and wow! I would be going to the measurement converter chart constantly and I'm not sure I would get it correctly and the instructions...I never crack my eggs in my ingredients. I do it in a seperate little bowl that way I don't take the chance of loosing an egg shell.

    I am tagging the following:
*dianegrapegrower#112864 Cold Vegetarian Spring Rolls#343166 for chef letter "D" and
*Engrossed#382071 Hot and Sour Soup#205650 for chef letter "E".

Hi, hun. Yes... the recipe and ingredients for those brownies are so confusing. Mianbao (aka: Mary) has been helping me convert thru PM. I'm gonna try and tackle it anyway. Flower7 gave me the chance to back out, but I'm up for a good challenge. Hey, I have almost 2 week left, right?! LOL

Good luck with your trials. I think I'll add some pork sausage to the spring rolls (but I'll try deep frying for crunchy egg rolls). I will try them out also. I can rate/review them with you.

Well... hello Mary. I see you must have finished with your birds, fish & floors LOL icon_lol.gif (Sorry all, private joke). So... it's 1:30 p.m. on Monday for you my dear? You get things done quick! I'm getting ready to call it a night here shortly (it's 10:30 p.m. on Sunday in Illinois, USA).
I just read the recipe that you tagged, and I'm gonna try it also, even tho it doesn't count towards anything. It sounds delicious!
I'm going to try and tackle those dang brownies from "H... E... DOUBLE HOCKEY STICKS" (aka: Chocolate Walnut Brownies) later this week. Thank you for all the PM's regarding conversions for the ingredients. Wish me luck on that one.

Hey Mary... just me again. Curious as to whether you are an "egg noodle" or a "steamed bun with stuffing"?! LMAO icon_lol.gif (I googled "Mianbao" and get 2 different answers. I guess it depends on your location).
Talk to you soon, dear. Enjoy the rest of your day. I will "chirp, quack or crow" for you tomorrow afternoon (well... wake up time for you).

I would like to tag "N" to make Ham & Cheddar Crescents #73011 by Newspapergal. One question tho... her recipe says she "adopted" it from another source. Will it still count as an "N" even if it's not originally hers?
