Tonight we enjoyed Peter J's Caramelised Steak. So jolly delicious and very simple as well. All Merph'ed and with a lonely spare one awaiting in the fridge for tomorrow. Hmmm, will it still be there tomorrow morning? Only time will tell.

Trust me, it was our pleasure.

Hope you are keeping safe. Have just been listening to the news and sounds like parts of Tasmania got a little over heated yeterday. The fire season has begun again. icon_sad.gif

Hi Kathy, thanks for your concern, I'm fine myself I don't live in a bushfire prone area but quite a few homes / farms have been lost in outer areas and one unconfirmed report of a life lost.

At least after the record 42C (107F) yesterday things have cooled back down to a more average 25C and there's a lot less wind so hopefully that helps them bring things under control. Hopefully everything is OK for everyone in Adelaide, I heard their forecast was quite a few hot days in a row.

Last night we enjoyed Tisame's tasty Asian Style Chicken & Cashew Cakes. This recipe is well worth trying. I cooked the cakes on the BBQ which worked well.

This was followed by **Jubes** Light Chocolate Mousse. I garnished it with a little sliced pear and grated Toblerone chocolate. Mmmmm, very delicious and very quick and easy to make. I can highly recommend this as a light ending to a summer meal. NB: This recipe is not part of the January Swap, I just posted it because it was so nice.
