Is it really necessary to have ads at the end of each recipe with a partly nude couple in bed and a link to a sex article?

This is a COOKING site, not a sex-ed site.

Makes me very glad that I use AdBlock - yuck!
Update: I checked on one browser that does not have
adblock and I did not get a similar ad - if you can get a screenshot, that might help Mary.

Glad I use Adblock, too! There's no reason that stuff should be shown to members. You might contact the magazine to complain, as well.

Click on the link in my original post and you will see the same photo, and the article.

What I meant, Mikekey, is that I used a browser without AdBlock and looked at many recipes and never had that ad show up.

I don't know how to do a screen shot and post it, but at the bottom of the recipe, between the instructions and the reviews, there is a section called "You might also like" with 4 or 5 thumbnails. Usually the two to the far right are actually ads for various things. That is where I have seen this particular one. They rotate them so it may not be there for a few days again.

Thanks, Mikekey, that helps - AdBlock does not block that and I'll keep my eye out for it too.

To insert a prtscn in a forum post in Food.com, you would have to upload it to an outside photo hosting site (like photobucket), get the img url and then add that url in.
We tested and the way to do this is use Power Point and save as jpg. Then copy and paste IMG URL from Photobucket into the forum post.

Thanks for the info (I use a Mac so don't have PowerPoint) but this wasn't the issue. The issue is why you have ads that don't seem appropriate for a cooking site.

You can use other programs to save as JPEG. I also use paint. Unfortunately, I am not familar with MAC so I don't know what to refer you to there. However, as for the ad, it doesn't sound like one of ours. We wouldn't place an ad like that on our site. It sounds like a pop up ad, which is why I am trying to get a screen shot from you to investigate further as I haven't seen it.

Mary, the section in which Mikekey reported seeing this is apparently done by Outbrain. I think Outbrain might be the people who are allowing that type of ad through.

Thank you, Duonyte.
If anyone can grab me a screen shot, that would also be helpful. Thanks!

Mary, the ads seem to rotate from day to day so I haven't seen this particular one in the last couple of days, but they are in the "YOU MIGHT ALSO LIKE. . ." bar at the bottom of recipes, before the reviews. There are usually 5 of them and three are from Food.com and the last two on the right from other sources and it says "Recommended by Outbrain" below them.
I finally had someone show me how to do the screen shot, so here is what I see today. The link I posted in my first post above takes you to the actual content of the ad I was questioning.
Thanks.

Thank you! I have reported to the team to have them block. If you see the specific offensive one again and can get a screen shot, try to grab it if you can. I'll keep a look out too.
Thanks!

The ad I was questioning made a return today:
It is the second from the right.
