    Copycat Boiling Crab Recipe

    May I please know the measurements of all ingredients needed to cook? That would be of great help if measurements are posted;
    especially if there is someone who is new to the cuisine it would be difficult to estimate the measurements. icon_smile.gif"

    A "Crab boil" is not an exact recipe....it is just a listing of seasonings and spices that are used to flavor the cooking water the crabs are cooked in. Rarely are measurements given for the "boil" the seasonings are usually added "to taste". In other words, you add as little or as much of the seasonings until you are happy with the flavor.

    With regards to recipe # 426892 Copycat Boiling Crab Recipe, the person that posted the recipe does give some information/measurements in Step # 4 about seasoning the boil. icon_confused.gif

    I am not familiar enough with the differences between a "Southern Low Country Boil" and a "Asian fusion/Vietnamese Crab Boil" to know if the measurements in this recipe will work as a guide for sorting out the other recipe...
