Thanks. I'll do that. There will be 10 finalists—five chosen by popular vote
and five chosen by the judges.

Alisa, Way to go on the added exercise. I can't stand to stand still so if I am in a line waiting to check out or just having to stand some where. I start moving, got this idea from my Wii Fit several years ago. The hula hoop on it, you just take your hips in circles. I guess people think I am crazy but hey if we keep moving we do better now and later. I also do it if I am walking through the house and washing dishes or whatever and music comes on. Never thought of it until I went to Zumba, but it is moving and better than just standing there. The bad thing is music rarely comes on at my house unless it is planned because I don't do that much TV watching.

    L. Peggy, I can't imagine winning six months of free travel, that would be wonderful. Can't wait to see your video.

Laury hope you are doing OK today.

Tasb, I have to see if I can't download me some music to play while doing my exercise on my elliptical. I laughed yesterday, when you said it had to be fast music because you tend to go to the beat. Well, I do that when I am driving. If I am driving and slow music comes on, I might slow down to a crawl, but let something fast come on and look out because I will be flying.

Hope eveyrone has a nice evening.

Looks like my last post got lost, I am sick once again. It isnt a bad cold, stuffy/ runny nose and I had a sore throat yesturday. Last night the room was spinning, more than likely the cold meds. Then today my ears got a bit and the world was wobbly. At least the sore throat is gone.

tasb, so sorry you are sick once again. I have had a tad of a sore throat today, I certainly hope it doesn't lead to any thing more.

Jacqueline, it's tremendous that the PT will help you with both shoulder exercises and hip exercises!! I hope you find great upbeat songs.

Alisa Lee and Jacqueline, it's good to get in all the exercise you can and adding to it however is excellent.

Leggy Peggy, you have been to so many places that most people don't ever see. You will be able to make a great video from all the places like the Arctic.

    tasb. get well soon!!

For myself, I have accepted things they way they are. That does not mean that I am happy about it. I was able to do one 10-minute exercise and that will be all for today. Tom and I are going to a class at the local playhouse today to find out what goes on behind the scenes of a play. He may want to volunteer there some and I am going to learn something. (There won't be anything that I can do to volunteer.)

Laury are you going to let the doctor do the biopsy?

Tasb, about that post getting lost, that happens to me any time I type out a big long post.

I go to my main doctor on Tuesday. I am going to ask her opinion concerning this. I like him more and believe he is more knowledgeable than my previous lung doctor. He noticed a rash around my mouth. He asked if I am being treated for it. When I said that I am not he told me to drink a glass or lemonade or orange juice everyday because he feels its caused by my not having enough Vitamin C. I like that he notices and comes up with a suggestion.
I also prayed about it and listened to myself praying The Lord's Prayer. I realzed that I have to give in.

Sorry I have been awol. Life got nuts a couple of weeks ago. We put our house up for sale and have been frantic every since. I am a fairly casual housekeeper and with large dogs there is always hair on the floors seconds after vacuuming. Keeping the place 'show ready' is exhausting! Then we have had a lot of interest with 3 - 5 showings a day. Each time we have to ask the people to wait - dress for the sub zero temps - leash up the dogs and go for a walk. Some folks hang out for 50 minutes!!! We have done a great deal of walking icon_wink.gif

In addition we want to relocate to a rural area so house hunting involves a drive of over an hour each way. Add to that bringing in plumbers, electricians and chimney people to bring this house up to code (it's 90+ years old) means that we have a revolving door. It's a very stressful time.
There is light at the end of the tunnel though. The house is conditionally sold and the building inspection will be on Monday. Tuesday we will re-negotiate the offer if necessary.

I'm eating decently and getting on the treadmill when I can but it sure hasn't been on a regular basis. I'm looking forward to getting back to some sort of routine.

I will check in more often though!

K9, I understand the causal house keeping. I guess that is what I am, too. Have I ever said how much I dislike housekeeping? Well, if I haven't I will say it now. I really dislike keeping house. You'd think my house would stay clean since it is just me and the cats but my house is the stopping point for everyone, so I have people in and out all day long, except on snow days.

I have been on my elliptical a little but to be honest it has been so long that I am like starting over and having to build myself back up. PT is going to get more intense on Monday and I dread it but look forward to it, too.

I am trying to keep my eating on track but the last few days have not been doing too good.

Glad to see you back and hope your sale goes through quickly and you find a house fast.

Laury sounds like the new doctor does pay more attention to details.

"Casual housekeeper"....... I like that phrase K9! icon_lol.gif I have cats, so I know all about pet hair. I swear I could sweep up enough hair for a litter of kittens every day. You'd think my cats would be bald. Hopefully your house will be sold soon and you can get back to a routine.

K9 Owned, we understand people being too busy to post. As long as you watch your diet and exercise, you should be fine. Whether your exercise is walking the dogs or a scheduled routine, it is exercise.

Jacqueline. I hate housekeeping also. We now have a home health care person who will be in the apartment 6 hours a week, We plan to have her do basic housekeeping.

Alisa Lee, housekeeping is not that important to me either.

There are many people who don't like housekeeping. A few years ago Tom's brother called and asked us to go out to dinner. He lived about 90 minutes away so I immediately got up and tried to clean. Tom sat there. I screamed at him to get busy and clean. Tom explained "My brother said he wants to see us. We both will be ready to go when he gets here. If he wants to inspect the apartment and how clean it is, he has to give me at least 1 weeks notice." I quickly sat down and agreed.

Alisa, I, too, have a cat and my best investment has been a dyson animal, man does it bring up the hair.

Laury, my mother always told people if they wanted to come see her fine, but if they were coming to see the house to stay home.

Hope everyone is having a sunshinny weekend. It is 70 degrees here today, and to think we had snow on Thursday.

I forgot to mention earlier that we went to the first class at our regional playhouse. They are having classes on behind the scenes of a play. Yesterday we were given a tour of the building with an explanation of what everyone working there does. There was a lot of walking up and down stairs and lots of standing. I walked 20 minutes today. My lungs are doing fair but my hipd hurt quite a bit. I decided to just do 20 minutes today because I hurt too much from yesterday. The rest of the classes will be lots of sitting. I know next time to use more elevator and less my body.

Sounds like it was a lot of walking for you Laury but I bet it was entertaining learning all about it.

I am fixing to run to my sister's house and help her for a minute and then I don't know what I am going to do with the rest of the day. I slept late but that is because I am not feeling well.

Need to get back on my ellipitcal and get some exercise going.
