WOW, more check-ins. Good to see everyone.

I am on my phone and should be going to sleep. But decided I better let everyone know I am doing fine. Took an extra day off on Friday. Was very tired, last week was a crazy busy week. Prepping food for a field trip on Monday, after being told our principal was let go. We are better without her. Our interm principal is a former teacher. I like her. Then Thursday was our 5 km run. This year I was the cook. Was grumpy all week because one of the volunteers I had was only going to do it for the glory. Not to help prep or clean. But he did other jobs and I ended up with some awesome helpers , my son helped with heavy lifting, 3 ladies helped cook, clean and share laughs. There were so many leftovers that I used them on Friday, and still had lots to give away.

I'm pleased that more people are checking in, also, tasb!!
It's great that you got to take a day off on Friday and still had your work done. Lots of people seem to do things only for the glory and not to get the work done. I have seen it often.

I'm feeling discouraged today because I could only do one walk. The other two I had to not do today since my lungs are causing me to cough a lot and to be tired. The play yesterday was excellent. We both had a great time. This, however, was an adult play with both words and sexual content. We saw a child in the audience with perhaps a father or grandfather. I think the child was 8 or younger. There was too much I would not have wanted a child younger than 13 seeing. Right before the intermission they left.

Laury, hope your lungs settle down. Glad the play was excellent and also
glad the adult had the sense to take the child and leave the audience.

Good to know you've perked up too, tasb, even with a grumpy spell. icon_wink.gif

We're minding a friend's dog. She had to rush home to be at her father's
deathbed. He's a big, big dog and it's rather like having a Volkswagen in
    the kitchen.

So, so glad that more are checking in when they can. K9 I had no idea you had a heart attack in the past, Glad you knew enough to know you needed help when you did. Please rest up and take it easy. I know that is impossible when packing. I'd roll over and die, I think, if I thought I had to move.

Laury, glad you all went to the play, sorry your lungs are bothering you.

Tasb, you still amaze me at all you do.

Me I am holding on, this week is the two year anniversary of my father's death. I spent most of today going back and reading things I had posted on FB when he was sick and then again the condolences that were left when he passed away. Been kind of an emotional day.

Jacqueline, I hope this is an easier week for you.

I managed another walk today. When I tried for the 2nd walk today I stumbled and fell against a wall. I decided to stop immediately and sit. I am back on oxygen.

    Have a good week everyone.

I'm pleased that you are feeling encouraged, Jacqueline!

We are having a very rainy stormy day. We are having tornado watches and the rain will end some day Im sure. I think I might suggested my sister, an architect, design an ark for us.

DH's work project is under control, so we finally got our three day weekend!
We're enjoying our time on the coast, and I may stay for the entire week.

And there's going to be a concert in the park on Sunday afternoon that we might go to and take a picnic lunch. Sounds good! icon_cool.gif

Peggy, Recipe Reader and everyone else have a good weekend.
The rain and wind have moved on. I was able to exercise 3 times yesterday and 2 times today. I am not feeling okay so I have stopped exercising for today.

Laury, hope you got enough rest after your fall. Take care of yourself. Hopefully you find out soon why your lungs are so full and hurting.

Recipe Reader, have a great time with your hubby, good that he finally got some time off so you could get away together. What a loss you had 25 lbs. I think I found them, and a few extra. I was up over 30 lbs from my lowest weight as of the beginning of this year.

Leggy Peggy, have a great weekend with your DD. Almost tempted to tell you to send some rain here.

Jacqueline, happy to hear you are holding steady with your weight. Mine has been all over the place lately. I decided to stick with the upper number the scale is giving me. No cheating myself. Death Anniversaries are hard, going back and looking at things helps sometimes. I was looking through my photo album my mom made me when she was dieing. And looking at all the pics of her, my son, even pics of others that have died. I was even reading her Will. Was hard, read about half of it and walked away. I have a very hard time in winter because there are so many anniversaries. I am basically blue from October to February.

Alisa Lea, how is Squat Challenge going? Are you also keeping up with Zumba? Hope you were able to dance with your jammies. The sound cute. I really should find some silly jammies for Jammy day at work. I just have pink polka dot jammy bottoms I wear. I would say 7 lbs in 2 months is a good thing.

K9, I'm sorry I didn't know about your heart attack. Take really good care of yourself. If at all possible try recruit some help with packing. That can be stressful. It is amazing how much junk we can get when we have the space to store it. Luckily for me even though 1/4 of floor plan is storage, we never fill it up. Once it starts getting in the way we junk out our crawlspace. Since the only access is a small 3 ft high door and we almost literally have to crawl in there we don't put things very far in.

Me, well I finished Squat Challenge on June 1st but decided that I didn't do them in proper form so I am redoing the challenge. Which I don't mind, it gives me something that I can't make an excuse on. I am also doing Push-up Challenge. Now that one is a killer. I just finished Week 2, and tonight I should be doing my Progress Test to determine if I stay in the second level. If I can't do 24 push-ups then I am going to redo week 2. I am thinking I won't be able to do it as my left-side stomach muscles are very sore. I am not upset if I stick back a week. I am just proud of myself being able to do push-ups. They are freaking hard. They do have the option of Wall Push-ups or Girly Push-ups but I want to do the real ones. Can you tell I am on my computer today? Hubby was thinking og buying me a new one, but I kinda laughed at said I am only on my desktop computer maybe once every 3 weeks. But instead he bought a new one for the youngest DD. She has the oldest computer. Now both girls have newer computers than us parents. icon_lol.gif

tasb, I am impressed how serious you are about exercise and making sure that you are doing them right. If your left-side stomach muscles are hurting be extremely careful what you are doing in exercise. I, years ago, must have stretched my stomach muscles in exercise or something else because I now have a large hernia. I am sure your daughter must love her new computer!!

One of my medicines, a squirt medicine not a pills medicine, is empty and I have not used it since Friday. I did call the pharmacy Friday, even before the doctor's office was open, and they faxed a refill request. As soon as my doctor gets around to faxing back her okay and the pharmacy fills it, I will be doing better. I can't judge when this medicine is running out. I will be back to as good as I can be and exercising again sometime this week. We probably won't know what is happening with my lungs for months. My lung doctor works 1
afternoon a week. I have an appointment in late June. He is then off for July and August. I am hoping he has someone else fill in for him. If so, maybe, I can find another doctor who works with the lung clinic. Hopefully I can find a lung doctor who works more often.

Home again, had a fantastic time hanging at the pool and on the beach. I ate too much crap and fried food, drank too much beer and not enough water. I did take several long walks though, along with the swimming. And I am still working on the squat challenge. I have a feeling I'm going to hate the scale tomorrow morning but I was on vacation, dammit! LOL Now I have until July 3 til our next trip.

I have been here several times and had cleared my cache and couldn't remember my password so couldn't log in. icon_sad.gif I keep it in a book but I had the book elsewhere so had to wait to get it.

Going good here, haven't weighed all week-end and I am proud of that. Tomorrow I have to go with my sister to the doctor in Pikeville, KY and I also have to have labs there, figure we will be gone all day. Leaving at 6:30 AM to try to get my labs before her two appointments since my labs are fasting and it is a little over an hour drive in good weather but the mountain is going to be so foggy tomorrow from all the rain today.

Hope everyone had a great week-end and remember if we say we can do it and if we think we can do it then we can.

tasb, you may have strained your diaphragm. I did that one, playing golf. Weird, as it was the end of the season and I had been playing two or three times a week. I ended up needing some prescription meds for a short time to help it heal better. Don't let it linger.
