Jacqueline, it was nice of you to mow your sister's lawn for her!! I am sorry you have been blue recently. I hope that changes soon.

tasb, I'm impressed by all the food you put together!! You must be tired to need all that sleep. I hope that you get energy back soon.

    Leggy Peggy, enjoy your vacation!!

Jacqueline, it sounds as if you had an excellent day with friends yesterday!!

I have not been doing much. I did my 3 walks Thursday, Friday and yesterday. I started coughing yesterday and Tom didn't like the sound of the cough. He urged me to stop exercising for a few days. This Tuesday early afternoon I go to my lung specialist. Until I see him we decided that I would just sit and not do much of anything else.

    Have a good Sunday everyone!!

Laury, hope you are feeling better and maybe it is best to take it easy until you see the lung doctor. My mother had COPD and her doctor told her it was all she could do to just take care of herself. So I bet your new doctor may be the same way.

Oh, Laury, nothing new for me to help mow my sister's grass. She helps me and I help her. Now sometimes we do my other sister's grass too, but she doesn't help us nor does she thank us. If she would just buy the gas from time to time I wouldn't mind doing or helping with her yard at all.

Laury, I think you are very wise to take it easy until you see the lung doctor.

Jacqueline, it's nice that you and your sister help one another out. I have
three sisters (and two stepsisters) and one of them doesn't have much
willingness to be supportive towards us. She's a real sister, not a step.

Maybe these two are related to each other and not to us. icon_wink.gif

Jacqueline and Leggy Peggy, you are both making me happy I don't have siblings like that. Then I don't live close to them either.

Me, today I am feeling like I have more energy. I spent just over an hour in the garden weeding, got most of the beds weeded, so I am happy with that. I have been neglecting my garden since I put it in. But with all the rain I have only had to water it a couple times. Yesterday I went to a farm stand and was hoping for strawberries, but my luck would have it they were completely out, but I was able to pick up a big basket or first of season cherries. Today I made Glazed Cherry Pie and Cherry Chocolate Chip Muffins.

The problem sis doesn't live near any of us, but still makes life difficult. icon_sad.gif
But the rest of us support one another. We don't try to exclude her, but she
excludes herself or throws her weight around. Nothing in-between. Sad and
    most unnecessary.

Jacqueline, Leggy Peggy and tasb, I have 1 sister, a half-brother and 2 step-sisters. My sister and I have always helped each other as much as we can. She takes Tom grocery shopping every Sunday they are in town and often gives me rides home from doctors. In fact, she is our transportation home from the lung doctor tomorrow.
My half-brother, and 2 step-sister have nothing to do with either of us. That does not bother me in the slightest.

Talked to my sis 2 hrs ago. We were talking for almost an hour. Yeah we all get along. I have a big blended family too. 1older half brother, 1 older full sis, 1 younger half brother, 3 younger step-brothers, 1foster sister and 1 step sister. We don't get to see each other often. I try and keep up with most of them on FB.

I had a crazy busy day. We had a bowling trip to town today so I drove in myself and did grocery shopping for the school. I forgot to do my order last week. So I rushed in, shopped. Brought snack to the bowling alley. Sat and chatted with co-workers. Had lunch, brought in water. After a bit I packed up and went shopping again. This time fresh stuff. Met up with the school at the water park for a few mins. Took a detour to drive by the house my first born died in, its ok if you didn't know. I don't talk of him often. But it helped me. Back to the school to drop off everything. Cleaned came home and finished my bead work. Phoned my parents to wish them a Late Anniversary. Slipped by me because it was Award's Night. Also fessed up to my step mother the beading I was working on was for her. Called my sister and finished my bead work. Posted it on FB to brag about it.

Dare phone I had to post before finishing my thought. I got about 20 stitches into my newest cross stitching project, then decided I better stop and get some sleep. But here is a picture of my bead work.

tasb, it sounds as if you are on a bit of a high which is so wonderful after
your run of bad health. Your beadwork is gorgeous. Thanks for sharing the
    pic and all the news.

tasb, I enjoyed looking at your beadwork!!

I went to the lung doctor this afternoon. I will be having a lung biopsy Thursday at 1. I am a little scared but I have to put on my big girls panties and do what I have to.

Laury, I will be thinking of you while you go for your lung biopsy. I hope all goes well.

Thanks both of you. I did that one in just over a month. I posted it on FB last night too, as everyone has been asking to see it. But couldn't until I let my step-mother know about it. I was worried about getting it finished, so I didn't say anything until I was on the final step. I tend to not finish things sometimes. This week we are winding down at work. I am trying to get started on my clean-up already. Getting bins emptied, washed and put away. I had a health inspection today too. Completely forgot about it until lunch time. But of course things were good. I could have been written up for having raw meat on the same shelf as some shredded cheese, but she didn't I had told her about how crazy things have been. An over-sight on my part.

Laury, I hope the biopsy gives you some helpful answers. I'll be thinking
of you and sending positive thoughts.

tasb, glad the inspection went well.

Our truck trip starts tomorrow, so no internet for me for who knows how
many days. Take care everyone and I'll be back when I can.
